New Year, New Decisions

Welcome to 2019! I hope you are well. I also hope you are ready for an incredibly amazing and super inspiring year; I know I am.

To start with, I do realize it's been quite a while since we've met via my blog. Please don't blame it on me. Instead, let's blame it on the roller coaster ride that was 2018. My life experienced more transitions than I have time to talk about, HOWEVER, I am still here. I am happy. I am grateful. I am braver. I am better. I have a closer relationship with God. And I am more ready than ever to be the force of good that I was created to be in the world.

Would you like to know why I am all of the things I just listed? I am these things because I made a conscious decision to be. I am not these things because everything is perfect. I am not these things because I finally feel like I have all of the answers. Rather, I am these things because more than ever I get that my life will only be as great and as beautiful and as fulfilling as I (Mischa) decide it will be.

As you enter into 2019, I thought I would take a moment to remind you that the same is true for you as well. 2018 for me was about understanding on a whole new level that every decision matters. And the reason every decision matters is because every decision is connecting you to something and connecting something to you. To this end, enter this new year with a better perspective about every new decision you make. Some decisions are easy. Other decisions are hard. Some will make sense. Others won't in the moment. Some require a lot of thought. Others not so much. At the end of the day we know what is and is not best for us--most of the time. And when our knowing is challenged or impaired, our all-knowing God is but a breath away.

So, pay attention to your life. Listen to your gut. Don't let fear, ego, old thinking, or narrow-mindedness imprison you. Be led more and more by that ever present, always steady force that dwells in and vibrates through every soul. This force is called spirit and exists to ensure we are always safe, sane and soaring in the right direction.

I love you and encourage you to not stand in the way of this being one of the best years of your life!
